Did you have a good xmas?

So how did your xmas day go? Did you all have a good one? How many of you went to see LOTR? lol. I will go to see it later with Roberta when she has time to go with me to the cinema. After all its not going to be a suprise for me as i already read the books lol. I'll be interested to see if they have made it as good or better than the other two previous ones though :-)

Anyway my xmas was just great. Spent xmas eve night with both Roberta and the family here too which was great although i was struggling to stay awake xmas eve night lol. I got a nice little bag thingy that will come in handy when i just want to carry small things :-). For me though xas day is really just an ordinary day as now my children are grown up and for me that is always the best part of xmas :-). Xmas day itself i got to suprise Roberta with her gift and i got the size right too hahaha. I was dreading that i got one too small or that she wouldnt like it etc :-) She told me that she loved it so i must have done just right then :-)

At the moment here its raining, luckily though i was back from downtown before it started. I went to Taco to get a pair of jeans. I love the jeans they sell there. they are well made and i like the denim material they use too. I was going to get some of their tee-shirts too but i didnt want to be there too lçong because of the rain so just got the jeans :-). I have some of their shirts that my students brought me for xmas and teachers day etc :-). I hope that it stops raining by tomorrow or Estancia will be a swamp lol

Talking of tomorrow, i am going with Roberta to spend the day with one of my students Gilson :-). He and his family invited us to go spend the day with them so it'll be nice to go visit his city although i was told its a bit dismal lol. Sunday i'll go to visit Robertas farm, i cant wait as i used to live right next-door to a farm in the UK and it was nice to get to see everything that happened during the year :-).

Ha ha my cell phone is sending messages again lol. All day it has refused to send one single message yet now its a rainstorm it decides to work, crazy or what ? hahaha :-)

I was reading on one of the websites about this thing called RSS and decided to check it out for my blogger site. Unfortunately though blogger supports it just for the pro part but this is a little confusing as they dont have blogger pro anymore. Wierd aint it? I was trying to find out if there was an easy way for me to use this RSS stuff without having to know loads of complicated html stuff but when i read up on a few sites i was soon lost lol. Hopefully blogger will osrt ot out soon as alot of people use RSS to find out about sites and updates too so it would maybe get a few more people to read my site about my mainly boring life hahaha. Maybe i'll email blogger with the new idea thing and see if they can say how long it'll be before we have to RSS stuff for the free people who have weblogs with them. When they reply i'll tell you what they say okay? :-)

Okay time for me to go and get something to eat here, im starving and i can smell dinner cooking :-). I dont know what we are having yet but it smells delicious :-)

Blogrolling up and running

Okay i have the blogrolling link up and running now, i guess they finally got the upgrades and stuff done. They have a new-look website as well which looks quite nice. If you have links you want me to add just email me okay?

Chat-up lines

So what are Chat-up lines? Chat-up lines are phrases and sentences that people use when they want to talk to someone in a bar or nightclub but they dont know how to get the conversation started. They tend to be crazy, sometimes stupid and alot of the time have some sort of sexual innuendo involved in them too. I listed a few cleanish ones here, there are loads of sites on the internet loaded with these things. I'�ll post the others when i get time

Links and stuff

Im waiting for the Blogrolling signups to be restarted and then we will have a easy way to post links to websites that have interesting stuff on them, i use Blogrolling on my other site and it works great and at the moment they are upgrading their servers so signups for new accounts is suspended for a little while. Once we have this up and running its really easy to post Links as it goes into a nice looking column at the site of the website. As soon as i have it setup and the html done ill email people how to use it okay? :-)

I wandered around the British Council website this morning too, its not too bad and has some interesting stuff on it. You can find links there to other website too, i didnt look at them all as i dont have dsl at home lol. Please go to British Council if you wanna have a look around and if anyone finds any other sites similar to this please post here okay and once i get the blogrolling stuff setup ill copy the links over :-)
